Regional Paramedic Program Open House

February 12th, 2016
The Regional Paramedic Program is a collaboration between several medical facilities and medical transportation services to bring EMS education to rural areas where it is not available.

On Friday February 12th the ALSTAR EMS Training Center hosted an open house as an opportunity to educate prospective students about the benefits of becoming a Paramedic. Prospective students from all over Chautauqua County were able to mingle with teachers, administration and graduates to get all their questions answered.

Guests were treated to a tour of the facility, demos, refreshments and even the chance to win a first aid bag door prize. Using the distance learning technology that makes this program such a success, attendees were also able to experience a "live remote" into the Olean General Hospital Distance Learning Classroom.
